FactsTropical rainforests take up only 2% of Earth's total surface, however contain the greatest diversity of living organisms on earth with about 50% of all mammals. To classify a forest of the tropical rain variety it generally retains a high annual rainfall, moderately high temperatures, nutrient poor soil, and an array of biodiversity. Much like the Amazonian, Sinharaja, and Yasuni rainforests.

Landforms Rainforests subsume many landforms including mountains-most of the time covered by arboriculture- and with mountains come valleys which usually have some sort of water whether it's a stream or a pond. Many islands-especially Malaysia/ Indonesia - also have rainforests.
Hardships/ CopingAlthough these rainforests provide us with beautiful vacations they are also home for plenty of tribes, comparable to the over 400 brazilian tribes whom abide in the Amazon Rainforest. It isn't easy surviving among the land, it shows many hardships. Since the soil is not the best for agriculture many tribes cope by hunting and fishing in the valleys for food. Some plants and animals are also a threat like snakes and this one plant called curare, it paralyzes your respiratory system but leaves your heart beating so you can feel yourself be suffocated to death; scary right? "Outsiders" are also invading trying to find oil and logs for their own gain.

OpportunitiesNot everything is terrible about living in a rainforest, all of the good vegetation would give clean air as well as resources for housing. Dirt, trees and leaves are all used in making shelters. The abundance of water bodies accommodate to their diet of fish and a gathering spot for animal herds to hunt. The tribal communities are very cultural, the video talks about defending the land to live off it and respecting everyone's diversity, a lesson many people of our area should learn today.

Uncontrollable AspectsOne of the many dangers of the amazon rainforest specifically- but are also an issue in other rainforests- is the weather patterns much like the amazon rainforest, they have an average annual rainfall of 260 inches a year. In months like March and April heavy rainfall washes out roads and trails, a big issue due to the rainforests large size and difficulty to get around. It also causes river levels to rise dramatically, which leads to floods that can destroy homes and camps. Wildlife also poses a large threat, many animal only attack for self defense however there are still small venom carrying insects, for example mosquitos that carry malaria and yellow fever, both very serious diseases that could kill you if not immediately and properly treated.

Conclusion
In my opinion it was harder to find positive impacts about inhabiting tropical rainforests, and the challenges definitely outweigh them. Basically you're putting yourself in danger for sickness to adore the natural beauties of the rainforest.
